“ We recently had our Netball trip here. A wild bunch of ladies coming together to celebrate a cracking end of our netball year. We are so thankful (and grateful) to have had this wonderful spot to drink, chat and party on right next to our accommodation. Nathan behind the bar (aswell as everyone else) were total legends who not only welcomed us all, but embraced us! You absolutely made our trip and we could not recommend this place more highly! P.S Jackson was a total hit and we boogied on into the night with his ripping tunes! Thanks to everyone at the Torquay Taphouse ”
“ Love coming here with the kids and friends, we’ve been a handful of times and the food has always been banging and fresh, and the beers are 11/10. I had the chicken katsu which was crunchy, juicy and absolutely delicious with a hazy mid. ”
“ Great spot for a Sunday! We came to watch the footy and had an awesome time. The steak and Katsu chicken schnitzel were excellent, cocktails were on point, and the beer selection is top notch. Relaxed atmosphere with great vibes, and earlier in the day they even had kids’ activities with a magician which was a nice touch. Perfect for family meals, group catch-ups, or just a drink and the game. The new owners have really turned this place around – highly recommend! ”
“ Torquay Taphouse has become a favorite spot! The spacious venue, with indoor trees, cozy booths, and a big projector screen, has an inviting, lively vibe. It’s perfect for meals and the games for kids are a bonus. The brewery is visible through a glass wall and the Passionfruit Pale Ale, with its crisp tropical zing, won me over instantly. As for the food, the fried chicken was one of the best I've tasted — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. For dessert, we were impressed by both the Chocolate Stout Cake and Strawberry Tart. They were both delicious and worth coming back for. It's at the top of my list of places to return to when back in Torquay. ”
“ HOLY GUACAMOLE! Best Parma I’ve had in AGES honestly fantastic parmo from the taphouse incredible. ALSO, the banana pudding was marvelously delicate and balanced. The interior was pretty cool with a modern industrial mixed with an old style diner. Also got a tasting paddle and oh me oh my was delectable I must say, the hazy mid and ipa were very smooth and yummy however the limited edition Mexican Cerveca was NOT what I expected still very very wonderful and amazing experience here will probably come back at some point ”
“ If you are looking for an event space check out Torquay Taphouse. We hosted a Mother’s Day luncheon with 200 guests in the main dining area, perfect set up with long bar area, dedicated area for dance floor, Italian style menu executed well all meals came out hot and delicious! The venue photographs so well and the large screen was perfect for us to showcase our event partners. Venue was so easy to deal with, really went out of their way giving us early access to set the room and all our questions were answered. Made for a very memorable day for our guests! ”
“ Torquay Taphouse is a fantastic spot! I ordered a parma and it came out in under 20 minutes—piping hot and absolutely delicious. I also tried a ginger-infused beer from the tap and it was beautiful, so refreshing and unique. The atmosphere was amazing for a Thursday night, especially watching the footy—great vibes all around. Couldn’t fault a thing, will definitely be back! ”
